After a month of packing, we said our goodbyes to 1716 Green Hills Drive on June 1st. To say that I was emotional is an understatement because I cried my eyes out all week leading up to our move. I loved this house so much and am so proud of what we did to transform it both inside and out. The first month we were away, I drove by it so many times a week but now I find myself doing it less and less. I know that 50 years from now I will still drive by it and remember all of the great memories that we shared in this home.
The following weekend after our move, we thought it was a good idea to get out of town and take a mini family vacation. We invited our friends, Dee and Lisa, and their two girls, Piper and Lily, and we loaded up in one SUV and went to Chattanooga for the weekend. We packed a lot in by walking downtown Chattanooga, taking the girls to the Aquarium and also the Children's Museum, and of course we squeezed in some swimming in the hotel pool. All of the girls got along so well over the weekend and it was so cute to see the older girls fight over who was going to sit next to Ava or who was going to hold Ava's hand. Ava loved every minute of hanging out with the older girls and we had a such a fun weekend together.
This is inside the butterfly conservatory at The Aquarium, if you look there is a butterfly to left of Ava's face.
You cannot tell by this picture, but this is carve out in the bottom of large fish tanks for kids to go in and look at the fish and sharks. Ava grabbed her lovie and wanted to take a nap inside and that is when we realized it was time to go back to the hotel.
The Children's Museum, they had all of Ava's favorite things....
water....
lego's...
choo choo's...
...and a slide!

The following week, Travis went to Vegas for a conference so Mimi came in that next weekend to keep Mommy and Ava company.
We had a fun weekend playing and Mimi gave Ava her first pony tail!
The last weekend in June, we went to Little Rock for the weekend to visit Uncle Christopher, Aunt Emilie, and cousins Joseph and Jacob. Baby Denbigh was not due for another 2 weeks so we wanted to go and visit them before the new baby arrived and little did we know that when we left, she would arrive less than 2 days later!
We had a great visit and spent a lot of time playing but also made a trip to the Little Rock Children's Museum and before we left, Uncle Christopher blew up the bounce house for the kids to play in!
Ava at the Children's Museum. Aunt Emilie made her this dress out of Nanny's vintage pillow case.
The kids loved this. They could put scarves in different holes and it would be sucked threw the tube and come out on another end.
Denbigh's Baby Bump!
Ava was very concerned that her Daddy was lying on a bed of nails.
Ava's first cousin's bath time!
